Bergamot oil is extracted from orange trees. With its distinctive citrusy smell, bergamot essential oil has long been popular not just for its scent, but its alleged refreshing, soothing and uplifting properties.
The specific orange tree from which bergamot essential oil is derived - known by the Latin name of Citrus bergamia - is grown around the world in warm climates. However, probably the best-known source of high-quality bergamot oil is Italy. Indeed, it is the northern Italian town of Bergamo that gives bergamot essential oil its unique name.
To ensure only the finest quality essential oil, we also source ours from Italy; specifically from the sunny climate from Sicily.
Our bergamot oil is extracted by cold compression of ripe orange fruit peel. This pure extract then passes through steam distillation to remove any furocoumarins. This distillation process creates a far more refined end product known in the industry by the acronym "FCF". This precision processing renders the end product ideal as a massage oil or for use in homemade fragrances.

All orders placed before 12 noon Monday to Friday will be dispatched the same day and should arrive within their allotted time period. Orders placed after 12 noon, on a weekend or over a bank holiday will be dispatched on the next working day.
Our courier is unable to deliver to PO Box addresses using our free 48-hour tracked delivery service. If you need your goods delivering to a PO Box, please select our 24-hour express delivery service when placing your order.
Please be aware that on rare occasions or during busy periods, delivery times may be slightly longer. Unfortunately, we’re unable to investigate the non-arrival of goods until after 2 working days.

If you wish to cancel or amend your order you must contact our customer care team immediately, by either calling us on 0800 988 0292 or via the online chat service on our website (open from 8 am to 6 pm Monday to Saturday). Please note that all emails are responded to within 48 hours on working days, so your request may not be actioned within enough time before your parcel has been dispatched.
Unfortunately, because we process all orders quickly to ensure fast delivery, we cannot guarantee that we’ll always be able to cancel or amend your order before it has been dispatched.
We do offer a free UK returns policy, so any unwanted, unopened items can be returned to us within 30 days of the delivery date for a no quibble refund or exchange. We recommend that you obtain proof of posting from your local post office upon returning the items.
Refunds will be processed once the returned items are received back into our warehouse. The amount we will refund is the amount paid for the products; delivery costs will not be refunded.
