Sensitive Stomach Formula

While our premium duck and rice dry food can be enjoyed by any adult cat, it can be particularly beneficial for cats that suffer from a sensitive stomach or other digestive problems. Duck is well-known for its gentle nature in the gut, and 40% of this food is made up from this very ingredient. This has been combined with rice, which is a great source of carbohydrate in the diet for day-long energy levels. Combined, they make for healthy balanced nutrition without the potential stomach upsets caused by other popular ingredients.

Potent Prebiotics to Support the Gut Microbiome

Another issue that can cause digestive issues is an imbalance in gut bacteria. Situations such as sickness, medicine use or even a change of food can all lead to changes to the beneficial gut bacteria that promote healthy digestion. To help counteract this, our duck and rice dry food incorporates beneficial levels of chicory extract. Also sometimes known as “inulin” this ingredient is known to be a “prebiotic” – an ingredient that is indigestible to your cat, but acts as a food source for micro-organisms in the gut. In this way they can grow and flourish, supporting the health of your cat.

As a supplement company we’ve been sure to provide a full and balanced range of vitamins and minerals. These include vitamin A (for eye health), vitamin D3 to support a healthy skeleton and of course taurine – an essential amino acid for all domestic cats.

Added Yucca Extract

If your cat utilises a litter tray in your home then you may be interested to learn about the yucca plant. Many cat owners over the years have reported that adding yucca to their cat’s diet has resulted in less odorous stools. For cats with a sensitive stomach this can be particularly beneficial when it’s time to empty the litter tray.
