The natural oils that are pressed from the seeds of the Evening Primrose flower provide a rich source of the omega-6 fatty acid known as Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA). It is understood that the presence of the GLA in the diet is of benefit in maintaining the health of the skin and coat.
Each capsule of VitaPawsTM Evening Primrose Oil for Dogs provides a concentrated 45mg of GLA, which has been derived from a cold pressing technique to preserve the activity of the oil. The soft-gel capsule protects its contents from being damaged by exposure to the air and is small enough to be concealed in the dog’s food.
